(also known as pestis minor ) is a rare, mild form of bubonic plague where the patient remains capable of walking and performing daily activities despite being infected with Yersinia pestis . It is often historically referred to as "latent plague" or "ambulatory plague" because the typical severe clinical symptoms—such as high fever and prostration—are either absent or significantly subdued.
