Chelsea grew up in a close-knit family with her parents, Maria and Carlos Romero, and her younger brother, Mateo. Her parents, both high school sweethearts, own a small, family-run restaurant in East LA, where Chelsea spent much of her childhood helping out with various tasks. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She's an avid reader, devouring books on environmentalism, social justice, and contemporary fiction. Chelsea is also a music enthusiast, often attending concerts and festivals in her spare time.

After graduating from UCLA, Chelsea landed a job with a local non-profit organization focused on promoting sustainable living practices.
