The plot follows Special Agent Connors, a elite CIA operative who is blinded during a botched mission to save the First Lady. Two years later, he is living in isolation until his former mentor recruits him for one last high-stakes job: stopping a terrorist from detonating a chemical weapon in Washington, D.C.. Connors' War

To enable the mission, Connors is injected with an experimental serum that temporarily restores his sight, granting him "extraordinary new vision" that often appears on-screen through psychedelic blurs and swirls.
