is a 1994 semi-autobiographical comedy-drama film directed by Spike Lee that serves as a vibrant memory of his childhood in 1970s Brooklyn. Plot and Themes

The film follows the living in a brownstone in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn during the summer of 1973. The story is told through the eyes of 9-year-old Troy (Zelda Harris), the only girl among five siblings, as she navigates life with her four rambunctious brothers. Crooklyn
