David Guetta Live @ Creamfields North 2022 -
David Guetta’s performance at Creamfields North 2022 was more than just a headlining set; it was a masterclass in the "Future Rave" era he pioneered alongside Morten, serving as a bridge between underground techno textures and mainstage energy.
The Steel Yard’s immersive LED ceiling worked in perfect tandem with Guetta’s transitions, shifting from cold, digital blues to explosive reds that mirrored the physical intensity of the drops. David Guetta LIVE @ Creamfields North 2022
Under the sprawling canopy of the Steel Yard—a structure designed for industrial-scale euphoria—Guetta bypassed the standard "greatest hits" medley. Were male filmmakers really threatened by the entrance of women’s lib, Billie Jean King, Joan Collins, and Erica Jong’s “zipless f*ck” they needed a retaliation? If so, good lord. I remember being around 13 and seeing the last half of GOODBAR on cable thinking I was finally getting to see ANNIE HALL. I seriously could have used PTSD therapy afterwards – but how do you explain all that as a kid? I’ve always wanted to (and still do) sucker punch Richard Brooks for revenge ever afterwards, And I would never see this movie intentionally. I’ve cried my Native American by the side of the road pollution tear once too often.
