: If you complete a chapter in a friend's game that you haven't reached yet, it is marked as "complete" in your own file. When you eventually reach that point in your solo campaign, you will be given the option to skip it.

: Players are not tethered together; you can explore opposite ends of the map independently to tackle side missions or gather collectibles.
