The "librarian" that finds the IP address for your domain.

When you type a URL into your browser, a lightning-fast process takes place in the background: You type www.example.com . domain name server

Domain nameservers (often provided by hosts like GoDaddy or Cloudflare) contain the or DNS records . These records associate your domain with: Web Servers: To load your website. Mail Servers: To deliver your emails. The "librarian" that finds the IP address for your domain

The TLD server points to the authoritative name server , which stores the final IP address. it asks a root server

If the resolver doesn't know, it asks a root server, which directs it to a Top-Level Domain (TLD) server (e.g., .com, .org).
