Central Heating | Electric

With fewer moving parts and no combustion, electric systems generally last longer and don't require annual safety certificates or "gas safe" inspections.

Electric heating is often the best choice for modern, well-insulated homes or smaller apartments where the cost of installing a gas line is prohibitive. It is also the go-to solution for anyone aiming for a "net-zero" lifestyle.

These are the most efficient option. They move heat from the outside air or ground into your home. While they use electricity to run, they can produce 3–4 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity used.

These operate independently of a central boiler. Modern "smart" electric radiators can be programmed individually, while storage heaters "charge" overnight using cheaper off-peak electricity to release heat during the day.

Electric boilers don't need gas lines or chimneys, making them easier to install in flats or remote areas.
