There are two primary methods for constructing knit fabrics, categorized by the direction in which the loops are formed:
: The most common type, where yarn loops run horizontally across the fabric. This includes common textiles like Single Jersey , Rib Knits , and Interlock . It is known for its high stretchability but can unravel ("run") if a thread breaks. knitted fabric
