Follow these steps to customize and prepare your DITA-OT.zip for use in your documentation workflow.
Download the "out-of-the-box" version from the path /etc/fmdita/dita_resources/DITA-OT.zip in your AEM instance.
Alternatively, download a specific version directly from the DITA-OT download page . Install Plugins & Customizations Extract the downloaded ZIP file to your local system. ot.zip
Upload the updated ZIP to /apps/ /dita_resources . Use a WebDAV tool rather than the AEM Package Manager.
Ensure the ZIP file contains a single top-level folder named DITA-OT containing all plugins and files. Upload to AEM/FrameMaker Follow these steps to customize and prepare your DITA-OT
Use the command line to install new plugins: dita --install .zip .
It is highly recommended to run the integrator tool on a Mac or Linux system to ensure file path compatibility across platforms. Re-package the ZIP Install Plugins & Customizations Extract the downloaded ZIP
Go to Structure > DITA > Generate DITA-OT Output and use the Customize button to point to your new ZIP file path. Configure the DITA Profile In AEM, navigate to Tools > Guides > DITA Profiles .
