Polly Garter is a central character in Dylan Thomas's 1954 radio play, Under Milk Wood , known for her many romances and longing for her deceased love, Little Willy Wee. She is featured in a famous monologue where she speaks of motherhood and her lost loves in the Welsh village of Llareggub.
